Several years ago I came up with the idea to implement and launch www.AlansForums.com which is an online community attracting great business minds from all over the world and is branded around international consultant, speaker and author Alan Weiss.
This month this great community came together and together collaborated and developed this great article called “Travel Tips from Alan’s Forums.” Click on this hyperlink, learn and explore what great minds are able to develop in an online team work effort.

Chad Speaks to the Million Dollar Consulting™ College

Saturday, February 24th, 2007

I have just returned from Rhode Island where I deliver my speech to Alan Weiss’s Million Dollar Consulting™ College. This college attracts the brightest of minds in the consulting world and it is always my great pleasure to speak in front of this elite group. The topic I focused on was “Leveraging the Internet to Dramatically Grow Your Business” and my goal was to have each attendee walk out with at least three pragmatic ideas to implement in their web strategy.

Among many serious mistakes I see with most web site, the most problematic one from my perspective and the one I consult my clients to avoid is the problem of too much text on the home page. Web visitors do not like to read to much on the home page. The briefly scan the page and look for interesting and valuable things that grab their attention.

Finally a Laptop with a Built-in WOW Factor

Friday, February 2nd, 2007

After over 20 years of using and recommending PCs and laptops running Microsoft and Windows, I decided it is time for a change. I am glad to report that I am the proud owner of my new MacBook Pro laptop from Apple and it is absolutely awesome. It came with a beautiful 17” display, 2.33Ghz Intel Core 2 Due processor, 2GB of memory and 160GB of disk drive. All my PC files smoothly transferred over and I did purchase the Microsoft office suite for ease of compatibility. With my new Verizon wireless card, anywhere accessing the Internet seems to be working flawlessly and easier then before and even my wireless networks at home and the office are instantaneously connected to. Although rarely needed, I may even bring up, side by side, my Windows environment when necessary.

So I guess it is true: “An apple a day … keeps a new believer away”
