Secrets of Success
Richard St. John gave a terrific presentation at TED discussing his top eight points of what leads to success.
Here are his Secrets to success:
- Passion – Do it for love and not money. The money the comes anyway.
- Work – It takes hard work with much fun.
- Focus – Practice, practice, practice.
- Persist – Through failure as well as Criticism, Rejection, Assholes and Pressure.
- Ideas – Listen, observe, be curious, ask questions, problem solve and make connections.
- Good – Get damn good at what you do.
- Push – Physically and mentally to overcome self-doubt, shyness, feelings of whether you are good or smart enough.
- Serve - Deliver to others something of value.
